Recently i had a visit to Prashar. Situated at the height of 2730 meters (9000 feet nearly) above sea level and about 63 km from Kullu and 42 Km from Mandi. It is approachable by road from both Kullu and Mandi Districts.
The view when we reached at the top was just amazing.In the picture above: a small pond on the way to the lake.
This place is sacred to Parashar Sage, on the edge of the lake there is a three tired pagoda type temple dedicated to Prashar Rishi ( Sage).

The scenery is lovely. Is it something new that is being built? The road looks like if it would be raining, it might be a bit muddy.
