Parvati River

Parvati river is the main tributary of Beas River, It rises from the snowy upstream of Manikaran valley on the foothills of the main Himalayan range in Kullu District. Several tributaries join the main Parvati River and numerous waterfalls cascade down the steep valley sides. It merges with Beas River at Shamshi in Kullu Valley.

Drying or Washing?

Maize/corn harvest is kept on the roof tops for drying which is later used to make flour. Making yummy indian breads - "Makki ki Roti".
