Since Kullu is not connected with railway transport( the nearest available The railway stations are Jogindernagar (125 km from Kullu), Pathankot (285km from Kullu), Simla (270km from Kullu), Chandigarh (267km from Kullu). Indian Airlines and Deccan Airlines operate flights from Delhi to Kullu & back. Kullu is well connected to major parts of the country by a network of roads. The distance from Delhi is 522km approximately. Ambala, Chandigarh, Ropar, Kiratpur, Bilaspur and Mandi are the main stations on the way. One can enjoy panaromic views while travelling to Kullu by road. A number of waterfalls can be viewed on the way. High hills and river add to the excitement and for some traveling by such hilly road is an adventurous experience.
