Kullu

Just few glimpse of the beauty here
Kullu is a small town situated at the banks of beas river. It has an average elevation of 1,362 metres (4,469 feet).
The economy of the town largely depends on tourism, horticulture (apples, plums, pears, and almonds) and handicrafts (shawls, caps etc.) People here are very simple and innocent. The normal day start with bird's chirpings and fresh air.

We live very close to mother nature and worship it in numerous ways. Cows being treated as the most sacred animal, often called as " Gau Mata ". You can find cows in nearly all houses in villages here. Dairy products produced are sold in markets.
